Game of Thrones creator likens Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to White Walker

George RR Martin, creator of hit-show Game of Thrones, likens Luis Suárez to a White Walker after biting Giorgio Chiellini

It appears Luis Suarez could have a future in show business after Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin likened the Liverpool striker to one of the show’s famous White Walkers.

The 27-year-old forward became embroiled in his latest biting controversy on Tuesday after appearing to sink his teeth into Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay’s 1-0 victory in Group D.

Suarez received an eight-game ban for biting PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal in 2010 before the FA slapped the Reds striker with a 10-game ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in 2013.

He could receive a maximum of a 24-match international ban should Fifa opt to come down hard on Suarez, meaning he could spend his free international periods picking up extra work on Game of Thrones if Martin’s interest is anything to go by.
