David Ginola and Djimi Traore tweet their thoughts as Paul Pogba scores in France's 2-0 victory over Nigeria
Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann scored late goals as France booked their place in the World Cup quarter-finals thanks to a 2-0 victory over Nigeria.
The Super Eagles had a first-half goal ruled out for offside before Yohan Cabaye hit the crossbar in the final 15 minutes, with former Manchester United midfielder Pogba netting the decisive strike with eight minutes remaining before Griezmann polished off the win.
With France into the last eight, here is the best of the Twitter reaction from the former and current pros, as always, in chronological order.

Former Republic of Ireland international Kevin Kilbane (@kdkilbane77) highlights the game changers: “Not a vintage French (performance) but had too much in the end for #NGA #valbuena excellent & #Griezmann very good when coming on. #FRA”
Finally, former Liverpool defender Djimi Traore (@Djimi_Traore19) believes Nigeria miss former Newcastle United man Obafemi Martins: “Congratulation to #FRA go next round.man of the match enyama #NIG miss @oba_martins ….#WorldCup2014”
