Luis Suarez has always dreamt of playing for Barcelona, according to his former Ajax team-mate Gabri.
Speculation over the Liverpool striker’s forward has continued this summer despite the 27-year-old having signed a new contract with the Anfield club back in December.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be among the clubs ready to splash the cash in an attempt to lure the Uruguay international to Spain.
And Gabri has revealed that Suarez has always held ambitions of playing for the Catalan club.
“Luis Suarez has always wanted to play for the club and defend the Barcelona shirt,” Gabri told Spanish television station Esport.
“He has always wanted to head here someday, so I would be very pleased [if he did].
“I also believe the club want to buy him. He would suit it well, he is very enthusiastic and would fit in nicely at the club.
“The family of his wife are also in Barcelona.”
