Man United transfers: Louis van Gaal "desperately" wants the Red Devils to sign Arjen Robben in the summer window

Louis van Gaal desperately wants to sign Arjen Robben, according to Ajax youth coach Bryan Roy.
The Netherlands head coach signed a three-year deal to become the new Manchester United manager last month and the 62-year-old is set to take charge of the Red Devils after the World Cup.
Van Gaal’s side have been the been the standout nation at the major tournament so far, with Bayern Munich forward Robben the best player following three goals and an assist in the group stage.
And former Netherlands international Roy believes the new United manager is desperate to bring the 30-year-old to Old Trafford to help give the 20-time English champions a much-needed face lift.
“I think Louis wants him desperately to come to Manchester United. Bayern Munich is also a big club and he is very happy there but you never know. With football, everything is possible,” Roy told Talksport.
