Man United transfers: Rio Ferdinand believes the Red Devils should sign Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane as his replacement

Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester United should sign Real Madrid centre-half Raphael Varane as his replacement.
The 35-year-old defender was released by the Red Devils at the end of the season after a 12-year career at Old Trafford, which saw the former England man win six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
Varene has impressed for France at the World Cup as Didier Deschamps’s side reached the knockout stage, whilst the 21-year-old has already helped los Blancos win La Liga and the Champions League crown.
And Ferdinand, like Jose Mourinho who described the French star as the world’s best young defender, feels Varane is going to be a top player, but doubts Madrid would sell to United.
"@Jonathan_bergh: What central defender would you buy to United? @rioferdy5" > Varane….Real Madrid won't sell though.

Ferdinand also backed United youngster Will Keane, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, to forger a promising career.
"@getpraveenmenon: Rio,what's your view on young Micheal Keane?" > will be a top player one day.Cultured. Eager to learn & be coached. Vital
