Man United transfers: Toni Kroos says that there is "nothing new to report" about his future

Manchester United are still in with a chance of signing Toni Kroos this summer after the midfielder revealed that his Bayern Munich future remains up in the air.
The Germany international has long been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford, speculation which has been heightening as the midfielder continues to stall over a new contract at the Bundesliga club.
The 24-year-old impressed under United’s new manager Louis van Gaal during the pair’s time together at Bayern.
And Kroos has confirmed that there was nothing new to report about his future.
“There’s nothing new to report,” said Kroos, whose contract expires next summer.
“With respect to the time before the World Cup, nothing at all has changed. If anything does happen, then you will all find out.
Kroos’ team-mates Thomas Muller and Philipp Lahm have both extended their deals at Bayern in recent days but the midfielder has turned down the Bundesliga winners’ first contract offer.
“Congratulations to Philipp and Thomas for their decisions and extensions,” he added.
