Man United’s Adnan Januzaj nets sublime volley against Liverpool No1
Manchester United teenager Adnan Januzaj nets a sublime volley past Liverpool No1 Simon Mignolet in Belgium training
James Rodgriuez provided Tim Cahill with competition for goal of the tournament on Saturday night, and Adnan Januzaj could soon enter the race judging by the Manchester United forward’s penchant for amazing training-ground goals.
The 19-year-old wowed onlooking supporters earlier this month as Januzaj, who signed a five-year deal with the Red Devils last October, netted a brilliant long-range strike as Belgium geared up for their World Cup opener against Algeria.
But Januzaj, who scored four goals and three assists in 27 Premier League appearances last season, showed superb technique to fire a first-time volley past Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after Axel Witsel teed up the United star.
