Arsenal hand new signing Calum Chambers No21 shirt
Arsenal hand Calum Chambers the number 21 shirt after the 19-year-old completed £16m move from Southampton
Calum Chambers is set to wear Arsenal’s No21 shirt next season after completing a £16m move from Southampton.
The Gunners confirmed Chambers’s move earlier on Monday afternoon but made Arsenal supporters wait before revealing the 19-year-old’s shirt number on the club’s Instagram account.
Chambers follows in the footsteps of defender Steve Morrow, ex-Fulham star Luis Boa Morte and former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant, who have all previously worn Arsenal’s No21 shirt.
And the Southampton youth graduate will hope to have a more distinguished Gunners career than the trio, who all had limited impacts at the north London side.
