Thierry Henry is tipping Gedion Zelalem to be a star after the Arsenal legend was left impressed by the German youngster.

The New York Red Bulls striker is set to face his former club on Friday night as the Gunners gear up for the new Premier League season.

17-year-old Zelalem is highly-rated at the north London side and made his first-team debut in a 4-0 victory over Coventry City in the FA Cup in January.

And the Berlin-born midfielder has a big admirer in the shape of Arsenal legend Henry, who is tipping Zelalem to become a star at the north London club.

Henry is Arsenal’s all-time leading goal-scorer after netting 228 times for the Gunners, winning two Premier League titles and three FA Cups.
