Arsene Wenger is hoping to get Arsenal’s transfer business concluded as early as possible this summer.

The Gunners have already brought in Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy ahead of next season as Wenger aims to get his squad ready for a Premier League title challenge.

We’ll do the deals when it’s possible

Arsenal left it late to bring in Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in a deadline-day club-record deal last summer.

But the Frenchman, who has confirmed that he is in the market for a new goalkeeper, wants to see the north Londoners wrap up their dealings as soon as possible.

“You are not the only one who decides that,” said Wenger. “Sometimes players that you want are available very late.

“You refer maybe to the Ozil case but at the same period last year, he was not available and became available very late.

“We’ll do the deals when it’s possible and that depends on three different opinions. This team we could do it early.”
