Real Madrid are ready to offload both Sami Khedira and Angel di Maria to finance the arrival of James Rodriguez from Monaco, according to reports in Spain.

World Cup star Rodriguez has arrived in Madrid and is set to complete an imminent €90m (£71m) move from Monaco to Los Blancos.

And Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will now turn his attention to recovering some of the funds used to sign the Colombia international by selling Khedira and Di Maria, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

Khedira has one year remaining on his current Real Madrid deal and has been strongly linked with a transfer to Arsenal this summer.

The Spanish newspaper is reporting that Real could be willing to sell the Germany international for as little as €20m (£15.8m).

Di Maria, meanwhile, has been touted as a target for Manchester United – but head coach Carlo Ancelotti is keen to keep the Argentina international at the Spanish club.
