Arsenal transfers: Toulouse deny Serge Aurier agreement
Arsenal transfers: Toulouse deny that there is an agreement in place for Serge Aurier to join the Gunners
Toulouse president Olivier Sadran insists that no deal has yet been struck with Arsenal for the sale of Serge Aurier.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a bid to bring the right-back to Emirates Stadium following Bacary Sagna’s departure to Manchester City earlier this summer.
For Serge Aurier there is no scheduled departure
The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international fuelled speculation linking him with the Gunners last month when he admitted that it would be hard to turn down a move to Arsenal.
But Toulouse chief Sadran has confirmed that there is no agreement in place for Aurier, who has also been linked with Tottenham, to leave the Ligue 1 side.
“For Serge Aurier there is no scheduled departure,” Sadran is quoted as saying by Eurosport. “So there is no asking price set.
“If a top-eight club made us an offer, I would study the proposal.”
