Gary Neville believes Germany’s “decision-making in the final third” was their key to success during their 7-1 World Cup thrashing of Brazil.

Germany scored five times in the first half as they capitalised on some woeful defending from the hosts to book their place in Sunday’s final against either Argentina or the Netherlands.
Some of those goals were incisive, brutal and clinical all in one!
And the former Manchester United right-back feels that Brazil’s poor defending was not the only reason for their humiliating defeat.
“Lot being made of bad defending but it was a lesson in ‘decision-making in the last third’ and ‘the extra pass’ from Germany,” Neville tweeted.
“Some of those goals were incisive, brutal and clinical all in one! To produce that composure on the two squared goals in that atmosphere was brilliant to watch.”
