Johan Cruyff praises ‘nearly perfect’ Man United target Toni Kroos
Johan Cruyff describes Toni Kroos as "nearly perfect" as the midfielder continues to be linked with Manchester United
Johan Cruyff has described Toni Kroos as a “wonderful player” as the midfielder continues to be linked with a transfer to Manchester United.
The Germany international’s future has been a source of constant speculation in recent months after failing to strike a new deal with his current club Bayern Munich.
The pace in his passes is great and he sees everything
The 24-year-old, who has a year remaining on his current deal, has been heavily linked with a switch to United, with Chelsea and Real Madrid also potential destinations.
And Cruyff has been impressed by Kroos’s displays for Germany at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
“Kroos is a wonderful player,” Cruyff wrote in De Telegraaf.
“He’s doing everything right, the pace in his passes is great and he sees everything. It’s nearly perfect.
“I’m impressed by Germany. Their passing, creating space and the way they use the goalkeeper.
“In footballing terms, they are outstanding.”
