Alexandre Lacazette has dealt Liverpool a blow by revealing that he wants to stay at Lyon this summer.
The 23-year-old France striker has been touted as a target for the Reds and Newcastle United in recent weeks as both sides look to bolster their attacking options.

But Lacazette, who narrowly missed out on the French World Cup squad, has now indicated his desire to stay at the Ligue 1 club beyond the summer.
“I will leave the president to discuss [the contract] with my agent,” Lacazette told Canal+
“But I’m staying at OL. I want to continue my association with OL.”
Lacazette scored 15 goals and made three assists in 36 Ligue 1 games last season.
