Liverpool transfers: No fresh Reds bid for Dejan Lovren
Liverpool transfers: Ronald Koeman denies that there has been a new bid for defender Dejan Lovren

Ronald Koeman has denied that there has been a new bid from Liverpool for defender Dejan Lovren in recent days.
Reports this week have claimed that the Anfield club have made another offer for the Croatia international as Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his rearguard ahead of next season.

However, Saints boss Koeman has dismissed the speculation, declaring that the defender “will continue playing for Southampton”.
“No, as I heard in the last week, there has been no bid for Lovren from Liverpool.
“That’s the situation and it has not changed. He will continue playing [for Southampton], it’s that simple.
“We know there is a lot of interest in our players, that is normal, but we have to wait and we work on the team and the squad and we like to continue with that [squad], and what will happen will happen.”
Liverpool are thought to have had a bid of £20m for Lovren turned down by the south coast club around two weeks ago.
