Serge Aurier has revealed that he is in talks about his future amid speculation linking him with a transfer to Liverpool.

The Ivory Coast international was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal over the summer, but the Gunners opted to bring in Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United as Bacary Sagna’s replacement.

Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs to have been touted as possible destinations for the 21-year-old in recent weeks.

And the Toulouse defender has confirmed that talks are taking place about his future.

“It is true that there are contacts,” Aurier told France Football. “The discussions are currently brief, but I cannot say more.

“It is up to both clubs to agree. I think there is something to do in Paris. If I go there, of course.”

Aurier scored six goals and made six assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances for Toulouse last season.
