Liverpool transfers: Unai Emery admits that Sevilla are "prepared" to lose Alberto Moreno this summer
Unai Emery has admitted that Sevilla are prepared to lose Alberto Moreno this summer as the left back continues to be linked with Liverpool.
The Anfield club have been heavily linked with a move for the 22-year-old Spain international, who has also attracted interest from Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.
We are prepared for any eventuality
And although Sevilla boss Emery is keen to keep the defender at the La Liga club, he revealed that they are prepared “for any eventuality”.
“I see him as a Sevillista, and hopefully he will stay at Sevilla,” Emery told Estadio Deportivo.
“We count on him, I hope to improve Alberto, he took a major leap and we have to work with him to help him to continue to improve.
“If something comes up during the transfer market we are prepared for any eventuality.”
Moreno scored three goals in 29 La Liga appearances for Sevilla last season.
