Man City transfers: Manuel Pellegrini aims to bring in at least one more player this summer

Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to bring in at least one more player to bolster his Manchester City squad ahead of the new season.

The Premier League champions have already signed Willy Caballero, Fernando and Bacary Sagna so far this summer as the Chilean prepares his side for their top-flight title defence.

Perhaps there is the option to bring one or more players in

Isco and Eliaquim Mangala are among the names to have been touted as a target for City in recent weeks.

And manager Pellegrini has told fans that City have not yet concluded their transfer business this summer.

“I don’t think the squad is complete yet but we have six weeks before the transfer window closes,” said Pellegrini.

“Perhaps there is the option to bring one or more players in, or maybe one or two will leave our squad but there is time for us to consider what is best for our team.”
