Man City transfers: Stevan Jovetic says he would like the Citizens to sign Juan Cuadrado in the summer window

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini

Steven Jovetic has urged Manchester City to sign Fiorentina’s in-demand Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombia international has been linked with Arsenal and Barcelona following a series of eye-catching performances at the World Cup in Brazil.

Cuadrado score one goal and made four assists in five World Cup games as Colombia reached the World Cup quarter-finals, losing 2-1 to hosts Brazil.

And Jovetic, who moved to City from Fiorentina last summer, would like to see his former la Viola team-mate join him at Etihad Stadium this summer.

“Who would I recommend we sign this summer? So many good players!” Jovetic said.

“I like maybe Cuadrado from Fiorentina. He’s a very good player, I played with him and also he’s a good guy.”

Cuadrado scored 11 goals and made five assists in 32 Serie A appearances last season.
