Man United transfers: Arturo Vidal relaxed over Juventus future
Man United transfers: Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is relaxed about his future despite building speculation
Arturo Vidal is staying relaxed over his Juventus future despite reports of a big-money move to Manchester United.
The 27-year-old has been touted as a target for new United boss Louis van Gaal – who is a keen admirer of Vidal – as he looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of his debut campaign at Old Trafford.
Vidal has been one of the key members of Juventus’s all-conquering side in Serie A, scoring 11 goals and making five assists in 32 top-flight appearances last season.
But the Chile international isn’t getting carried by the speculation linking him with a switch to Old Trafford, despite hinting that most players would be interested in playing for a club of United’s stature.
“I’ve heard about the rumours, but I haven’t spoken more about this subject,” Vidal told La Tercera.
“I’m enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I’ll see what happens.
“I’m very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
Vidal has won three Serie A titles since joining Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen.
