Jürgen Klopp has dismissed claims that Mats Hummels and Marco Reus could be on their way out of Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a bid for Hummels, while Reus has been touted as a target for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers in recent days.

However, Dortmund boss Klopp has denied reports that the pair could be set to leave the Bundesliga club this summer, branding the speculation as “garbage”.

“Both will stay here this season,” said Klopp. “There is no tendency they’d want to be elsewhere.

“Did they also say €20m? When papers mention such numbers you know it’s garbage.”

Reus, 25, scored 16 goals and made 13 assists in the Bundesliga last term. Hummels, also 25, netted twice and made two assists.
