Man United transfers: Stefan De Vrij’s agent denies Red Devils deal
Man United transfers: Stefan De Vrij hasn't agreed a deal to join the Red Devils, the centre-half's agent insists
Stefan De Vrij has not agreed a deal to join Manchester United, according to the centre-half’s agent.
The Netherlands international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford following his impressive performances under Louis van Gaal, who is set to take charge at Old Trafford following the World Cup.
De Vrij has played a vital role in the Oranje’s run to the semi-finals, joining fellow Dutch team-mates Arjen Robben and Daley Blind in being linked with a summer switch to the 13-time Premier League champions.
But the Feyenoord defender’s agent rubbished reports that the Red Devils have agreed a reported €8m (£7m) deal to sign the 22-year-old.
“We have no agreement with Manchester United, nor have we signed for them,” his agent told Lazionews24.com.
“I don’t know where this rumour came from. Stefan is concentrated only on the World Cup and he wants to continue doing well.
“Links to Lazio? No comment.”
De Vrij has scored seven goals in 153 appearances for Feyenoord after making his debut in September 2009.
