Michael Carrick has expressed his delight at seeing Manchester United sign Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao.
The 24-year-old midfielder finally completed a £24m move to Old Trafford last week following months of speculation linking him with the Red Devils.

And Carrick is confident that the Spaniard will slot seamlessly into United’s midfield as they look to break back into the top four next season under new manager Louis van Gaal.
“I have played against him and he is a terrific player,” Carrick told Sky Sports News.
“The more quality we have, the better, and he is certainly right up there.
“So I am sure he is looking forward to getting started and getting the first game under his belt and fitting in. We will certainly make him feel as welcome as we can.”
