Nicklas Bendtner has never been one to shy away from the limelight – and the former Arsenal striker has confirmed that reputation by posting a nearly-naked picture of himself on Instagram.

The Denmark international, who is currently a free agent following his release by the Gunners this summer, posted the picture of himself soaking up the rays, with nothing by a bra to protect his modesty.

The 26-year-old wrote: “Remember to protect yourself against the sun.”

Bendtner has been touted as a target for Aston Villa in recent days, with Eintracht Frankfurt also named as a possible destination.

The striker scored two Premier League goals for Arsenal last season after being restricted to just one top-flight start for the Gunners.

Speaking earlier this month, Bendtner’s agent said that his client’s future would be sorted out “soon”.

“There are many clubs who are interested in him and we will inform you very soon where he will continue his career,” Tom Brookes told Danish publication BT.

“I am sure that we will talk more about the club when the transfer is done, and that will be soon.”
