New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal arrived at the club's training base for his first day on Wednesday
Louis van Gaal arrived at Carrington on Wednesday as he prepares for his first season in charge of Manchester United.
The 62-year-old was confirmed as David Moyes’ successor back in May after signing a three-year deal with the Red Devils.
Van Gaal, whose Netherlands side finished third at the World Cup in Brazil, arrived at the club’s training base, where he met the players and coaching staff, as well as chief executive Ed Woodward.
And Manchester United welcomed the arrival of Van Gaal, who will be unveiled to the media on Thursday, with a series of posts on social media.
