Liverpool have made the most of Harvard University’s facilities as the Reds gear up for their next pre-season friendly against Olympiacos on Sunday.

Reds captain Steven Gerrard took his mind of his recent international retirement as the 34-year-old limbered up for first-team training on Friday.

The Liverpool skipper was joined by summer signing Rickie Lambert and former England team-mates Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge.

Brendan Rodgers’s side lost their opening tour match 1-0 to Roma earlier this week and the Reds will look to get back to winning ways against their Greek opponents.

Here are some of the best pictures from Friday’s training session.
