Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal have been handed a “difficult” Champions League group-stage draw but insists reaching the last 16 remains “feasible” for his side.

The Gunners were pitted against Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and Anderlecht in Group D in Thursday’s draw after their play-off round win over Besiktas.

Today when you play against the German teams, you know it’s difficult

And Wenger, whose side will take on Dortmund for the third time in four seasons, knows the north Londoners are in for a stern examination of their Champions League credentials.

“It’s difficult,” Wenger said. “We have experienced Dortmund a few times. Today when you play against the German teams, you know it’s difficult.

“It looks a little bit like ‘here we go again’ because we’ve played them a few times now.

“We’ve just experienced how tough Turkish teams are [against Besiktas in the play-off] and Anderlecht I don’t know well. But it’s feasible.”
