Photos: Rory McIlroy wins US PGA Championship

Rory McIlroy won the fourth Major of his career after claiming victory at the US PGA Championship at Valhalla on Sunday.

The 25-year-old world No1 finished one stroke ahead of Phil Mickelson, with a final round three-under 68.

It is the second time that McIlroy has claimed triumphed at the US PGA, after his eight-shot win back in 2012.

“I gutted it out. It was different to my previous major wins,” said McIlroy, who finished with a 16-under total. “To win my second major this year and fourth by 25, it’s just incredible.”
