Ander Herrera hopes to make Man United return for QPR clash
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera hopes to make a return from injury against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday
Ander Herrera has dropped a big hint that he could make his return from injury in Manchester United’s clash against Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Herrera, who moved to United from Athletic Bilbao in a £29m deal this summer, lasted 67 minutes of the 2-1 defeat by Swansea City on the opening day of the season.
And the Red Devils midfielder was unavailable for the games against Sunderland, MK Dons and Burnley after picking up an ankle injury.
However, the 25-year-old appears to be nearing a return to first-team action after Herrera took to his Twitter page to update United supporters on his fitness on Monday night.

On Sunday, United goalkeeper David De Gea revealed that compatriot Herrera was close to regaining full fitness after his injury setback.
“He’s not 100 per cent but for the next game he will be ready,” De Gea said of Herrera.
