Giovanni van Bronckhorst is convinced that Arsenal have what it takes to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners are currently seventh in the table after taking five points from their opening three top-flight games.

Arsene Wenger’s men finished fourth last season but have brought in the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck in the summer transfer window.

And former Gunner Van Bronckhorst feels that the north London club are capable of challenging for the title this term.

“Arsenal have a good enough squad to win the Premier League title,” Van Bronckhorst told talkSPORT.

“They are one of the teams who are capable [of winning the league]. It’s a major boost for Arsene, and for all involved, to be in the Champions League.

“The experience of the German players, who became world champions this summer, is also good for the team.

“Danny Welbeck wasn’t in Man United’s plans but he’s a very talented striker. He’s very experienced and has played for England a few times. Arsenal’s squad is big and very talented.”
