Arsenal have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Adrien Rabiot after Paris Saint-Germain admitted they are open to selling the midfielder.

The 19-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to north London over the summer but a move failed to materialise.

However, PSG boss Laurent Blanc has revealed that the Ligue 1 club are open to letting the France Under-21 international leave in the January transfer window.

“If we sell Rabiot, it will be in January,” Blanc said.

“But there will have to be an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain. Our code of conduct preludes a free transfer.”

Rabiot scored three goals in 34 appearances for PSG last season.
