Arsenal won’t have to wait long to discover if they will be able to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain in January.

The 19-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to north London over the summer but a move failed to materialise.

The club will soon clarify his situation

Now, PSG boss Laurent Blanc has revealed that the Ligue 1 club will clarify the France Under-21 international’s situation in the coming weeks.

“He asked to play in the CFA [the French reserve league],” Blanc said.

“It’s a good thing for him because he needs to collect minutes on the pitch. In any case, the club will soon clarify his situation.”

Rabiot scored three goals in 34 appearances for PSG last season.
