Marco Verratti insists that he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain and isn’t contemplating a potential move away from the Ligue 1 champions.

The Italy international has been linked with a return to Serie A in the January transfer window amid reported interest from Inter Milan and Juventus.

I’m happy at PSG and when you’re happy there is no reason to change

Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been touted as potential destinations for the highly-rated 23-year-old.

However, Verratti is happy with his decision to join PSG from Pescara in 2012 – and the midfielder has no desire to leave the reigning French champions.

“I chose PSG two years ago and would make the same decision again. I have no doubts,” Verratti told the Corriere dello Sport.

“If I were to leave this club, it would have to be because they were tired of me. Would I return to Italy? I don’t know, I’m happy at PSG and when you’re happy there is no reason to change.”

Verratti has won two Ligue 1 titles and the Coupe de France since moving to the French top flight.
