Mario Götze has put Arsenal on red alert by revealing that he would be open to a move abroad in the future.

The Bayern Munich star was linked with a switch to England before his transfer to the Allianz Arena from Borussia Dortmund, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all touted as possible destinations.

A foreign country would be tempting for someone of my personality

And the 22-year-old Germany international says that he would strongly consider a move away from the Bundesliga in the future.

“I am very, very happy to be playing at Bayern, in Germany,” Götze told Bild.

“But I might play for another 14 years, and a move abroad would certainly not be bad.

“A foreign country would also be tempting for someone of my personality, but I have not given it serious thought yet.”
