It’s that time of the year again: when the football gamers prepare to lock themselves in a room to test out the latest FIFA release.

But the autumnal excitement is not just limited to supporters – the players themselves are also eager to give the new game a go, too.

Liverpool’s Jose Enrique and Tottenham’s Roberto Soldado are among the Premier League stars to have taken to Instagram to reveal their excitement about the new release.

Enrique posted a picture of his newly-unwrapped copy of the game, along with the message: “Thanks @EASPORTSFIFA @EASPORTSEsp for the present. I’m going to play nowwwwww :))))”

Spurs striker Soldado, meanwhile, was just as keen to pick up a controller after his copy arrived this week.

The Spaniard posted a picture of himself holding the new game, and wrote: “Ready to enjoy the game FIFA 15.”

Ex-players have been getting involved too, with former Manchester United and Everton star Phil Neville chiming in as well. He wrote: “Fifa 15 arrived thank you @easports.”
