Manchester United have not made a bid to sign Kevin Strootman, according to the Netherlands international’s agent.

The Red Devils were linked with a move for the 24-year-old during the summer transfer window but a move to Old Trafford failed to materialise.

It’s all just speculation from England

Now, United are reported to be weighing up a January move for the Roma midfielder, who missed the World Cup due to a knee injury.

But Strootman’s agent, Fabio Parisi, insists that there is no truth in the reports linking his client with a switch to Louis van Gaal’s side.

“There is no kind of interest on Strootman. He is recovering from his injury and will be available soon to contribute to Roma’s cause.

“For the rest, I say that is just talk and there is nothing, it’s all just speculation from England.”
