Marcos Rojo admits that he cannot wait to line up for Manchester United for the first time.
The Argentina international was finally granted a work permit last week after joining the Red Devils in a £16m deal from Sporting Lisbon.
Everything that has happened to me since the World Cup has been a dream
The 24-year-old is in line to make his United debut when they host Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford on 14 September.
And the defender cannot wait to feature for Louis van Gaal’s side for the first time.
“I am desperate to get onto the field and play because I have not been able to step onto Old Trafford,” said Rojo.
“My life has changed a lot. I am very happy to be at Manchester United, a top team in the world, sharing a dressing room with players like Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Angel di Maria and now Radamel Falcao.
“This is a very important step in my career as a player and as a person. Everything that has happened to me since the World Cup has been a dream.”
