Chris Kamara does not think that Mario Balotelli is the right man to replace Luis Suarez in the Liverpool team.

The volatile Italian returned to Premier League football shortly before the recent transfer deadline, Suarez having completed his move from Anfield to Barcelona earlier in the summer.

But popular presenter Kamara does not think that Balotelli fits into Reds manager Brendan Rodgers’s system.

Kamara wrote: “On the face of it Balotelli doesn’t look like a Liverpool player.

“The one think Rodgers demanded from Suarez and Daniel Sturridge was absolute movement. Balotelli stands still more than he moves around so Liverpool are having to get used to him, he’s not having to get used to them. That’s a problem in itself.”

Kamara added: “At the moment he’s still a class player but the system that Liverpool have got suffers when he’s in the team.”

Balotelli scored his first Liverpool goal in a 2-1 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League last week.
