Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he does not have a preferred starting 11 for his Tottenham Hotspur side.

The Argentine watched the north Londoners slump to their second Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday as West Bromwich Albion were 1-0 winners at White Hart Lane.

And Pochettino says that he is constantly adapting his team to be able to cope with the opposition.

“Our best starting team depends on each and every game – there is no doubt about that,” said Pochettino.

“It’s not an excuse. A bad performance on Sunday is not because of the changes. We have a very strong squad and we need to use our players – we have a lot of games ahead and after each match we analyse every player.

“At the moment the players are not in a position to play three games in one week.”
