Off to Sin City? Arsenal & Liverpool stars relax on deadline day

Jack Wilshere and his England team-mates took a break from England duty on Monday to take trip to the cinema despite the drama of transfer deadline day.

Breaking tradition and opting against watching all the deals unfold on Sky Sports News, Arsenal trio Calum Chambers, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wilshere joined Daniel Sturridge and Fabian Delph to catch a film.

The Arsenal players all featured in the north London side’s frustrating 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Leicester City, whilst Sturridge played a key role in Liverpool’s 3-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Sturridge celebrated his 25th birthday on Instagram and Twitter today – and presumably the Arsenal trio pooled their money together to treat the Liverpool striker to a film.

“Cinema with the boys @[email protected] @dstudge and Delphy!” Wilshere posted.

Chambers and Delph received their first call-ups to the England squad last week for the games against Norway and Switzerland.
