Ander Herrera has urged Manchester United to “move on” from their surprise 5-3 defeat by Leicester City on Sunday.

Louis van Gaal’s side had been leading 3-1 but a remarkable fightback secured a memorable win for the newly-promoted side.

The result left United still searching for their second win under Van Gaal and 12th in the Premier League table.

But summer signing Herrera took to Instagram on Monday to voice his determination to help the Red Devils turn their fortunes around.

Herrera, who played the full 90 minutes at the King Power Stadium, posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “A tough result yesterday, but we have to move on and carry on working hard. We need to trust in this team.”

United’s defensive worries increased on Sunday after Jonny Evans picked up a suspected ankle injury in the defeat and left the stadium on crutches.
