Lukas Podolski has taken to Instagram to post a picture of himself “dreaming” of an Arsenal victory in Saturday’s north London derby.

The Gunners host their local rivals at Emirates Stadium in the late kick-off as the two sides do battle for the first time this season.

And Germany international Podolski shared a picture of himself looking pensive on the steps of Highbury on Friday evening.

He posted the photo above and wrote: “Dreaming of another victory!! #derbyday #northlondon #rivalry #Poldi #aha #Fight #Power #whatdoyouthinkoftottenham? #RedArmy #AFC #Gunners.”

Arsenal won the same fixture 1-0 last season thanks to Olivier Giroud’s winner for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Wenger has won 21 and lost just six of 43 north London derbies during his time in charge of the Gunners.
