Jack Wilshere was feeling the love as he relaxed with his dogs in the build-up to Arsenal’s clash with Manchester City on Saturday.

The Gunners host Manuel Pellegrini’s defending champions at Emirates Stadium as they look to notch up their second win of the season.

And midfielder Wilshere looked relaxed as he posted a selfie of himself with his dogs Rex and Dolly on Thursday night.

England star Wilshere wrote: “Dogs….unconditional love!!! #Rex #Dolly”

Summer signing Danny Welbeck could make his first Arsenal appearance against City on Saturday following his move from Manchester United.

Arsene Wenger is likely to call upon the England international regularly in the coming months after Olivier Giroud was ruled out until the new year with a broken tibia.

Arsenal have taken five points from their opening three Premier League games this season.
