Lukas Podolski looked relaxed as he prepared for Arsenal’s flight to Germany ahead of their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The Germany international, who was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Emirates Stadium, was all smiles as he reclined in his seat before take-off.

Podolski posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “On the road to Dortmund with our fitness guru Shad….. Los gehts ;) #RedArmyOnTheWay #ChampionsLeague #DORARS #Poldi #aha #Dortmund #AFC #RedArmy”

Arsenal head to Dortmund looking for their first victory since their 1-0 triumph over Galatasaray at Emirates Stadium in the Champions League play-off round.

Arsene Wenger’s men are without a win in the Premier League since their opening-day victory over Crystal Palace in north London.

The Gunners have played out successive draws against Everton, Leicester City and Manchester City in the English top flight.
