Jack Wilshere looks in need of some well-earned rest after helping England seal a 2-0 victory in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland on Monday.

The Arsenal midfielder played 73 minutes as goals from Gunners new-boy Danny Welbeck fired Roy Hodgson’s men to an impressive win in Basel.

And Wilshere appeared somewhat droopy-eyed as he posed for a picture with new Arsenal team-mate Calum Chambers on the way back to the UK.

Chambers posted the picture above on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon and wrote: “Nearly home! Someone’s tired <<< @jackwilshere" Chambers, who earned his first senior England cap against Norway last week, was an unused substitute in Basel as the Three Lions sealed victory. The 19-year-old defender joined Arsenal from Southampton earlier this summer and has featured in all three of the Gunners' opening Premier League games.
