Erik Lamela, Angel Di Maria and Sergio Aguero celebrated their 4-2 friendly win over world champions Germany with a game of Fifa on Thursday.

Manchester United new-boy Di Maria was the star of the show as he set up three and scored one in an impressive victory in Düsseldorf on Wednesday night.

Aguero opened the scoring when he netted from close range, before Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lamela expertly directed Di Maria’s cross into the top corner.

Di Maria then also set up Federico Fernández, who headed into the bottom corner, before the United man got himself on the score-sheet with a left-footed shot in the 50th minute.

After Di Maria’s sparking display, there was more good news for United on Thursday after defender Marcos Rojo was granted a work permit, meaning he could make his debut against Queens Park Rangers on 14 September.

Lamela also took to Instagram earlier in the day to reflect on Wednesday’s result, posting the picture below and writing: “Happy for the win and goal. Alemania 2 Argentina 4.”
