John Terry appears to be enjoying life without international football as he posed for snap with his former Chelsea team-mate Ashley Cole.

The Chelsea centre-half appeared along with Niall Horan and host of other friends at a birthday bash for the One Direction star, who turns 21 this month.

Ex-England international Terry posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “@niallhoran @ashcoley3 #thelurker love my boys @gabeturner73 @jamieredders where was you? Dance floor”

Cole, who left Chelsea this summer to join Serie A side Roma on a two-year contract, seemed prepared to poke some fun at himself.

The former England international was happy to recreate the same awkward pose he took up in a Roma team photo earlier in the summer.

The 33-year-old has made one league appearance for his new club as he played the full 90 minutes against Fiorentina last weekend
