John Terry has posted a special picture on Instagram to mark his 600th start for Chelsea.

The 33-year-old Blues captain reached the milestone during last week’s 1-1 Champions League draw with Schalke at Stamford Bridge.

Defender Terry shared the photo of himself above to celebrate the landmark achievement on Thursday morning.

Terry wrote: “Very proud to have made my 600th start for Chelsea and hoping to make many more. Thanks to @elite_mgmt for the photo edit.”

The centre-half has started all five of Chelsea’s Premier League games this season to help Jose Mourinho’s men top the table after four wins and a draw.

Terry has won three Premier League titles, five FA Cups, the Champions League and Europa League, as well as two League Cups with the Blues.
