Mario Balotelli appeared somewhat unimpressed as he took a stroll on one of Liverpool’s beaches on Friday.

The Italy striker, who is in line to make his Anfield debut when Brendan Rodgers’ side host Aston Villa on 13 September, has been getting used to life in the city following his transfer from AC Milan.

And the forward posted the picture of the beach above on his Instagram account, and wrote: “Liverpool beach! Ahah nice anyway:-)”

The 24-year-old made his Liverpool debut in last weekend’s impressive 3-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur.

Upon signing Balotelli, manager Rodgers said: “I’m excited to work with him and improve him as a footballer as well as a person.”

The forward joined the Reds on a four-year deal after Liverpool shelled out £16m to bring him to the Merseyside club.

Balotelli also snapped a picture of himself overlooking a view of central Liverpool last week.
